Course Objective : Advance Diploma in Optometry and Ophthalmic Techniques/Technology is aimed to develop a
multipurpose ophthalmic manpower in the country. The students can employ themselves in specialized
eye hospitals,optical outlets, practice independently and dispense glasses, contact lenses and low vision
aids.
Course Duration
- Total Duration: 1200 hrs.
- Session Duration: Daily 2 hrs.
- In Normal Track the course shall be completed in 24 months.
Eligibility : 10+2 or equivalent with science subject (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with minimum 45% marks
